My wife really likes the Tahoe ride height and features and I am a big fan of the LS package but the sticker price of used Tahoe’s is steep. Echo Lake Sno Park to Echo Lake and then beyond as far you want to see various lakes in Desolation Wilderness. Edgewood Restaurant @ Edgewood Tahoe has good food and great views. It's one of the higher-end restaurants in town and is probably booked up for this weekend by now (as I imagine many places are), but it's worth a shot. I also like the patio at Riva Grill. More casual than Edgewood and not as good a view, but still a staple. But at Heavenly you can see the lake and ski in 2 states in one morning. When I take new-ish riders for their first blue run (s) I go for Orion. It's long, wide and pretty easy to ride. For snowboarders, the Tamarack lift is easy to get off.
