This paper analyzes the possible effects of increased urban vegetation on the ozone air quality in California's South Coast Air Basin (SoCAB). While air quality has improved tremendously in our region over the past few decades, the South Coast and Salton Sea air basins continue to have days where pollutants can reach unhealthy levels.
