Then there's Cassiopeia who gets countered by picks like Ori rather than Ryze. Kassadin is an easy match up for Ryze but I think Kassa can survive the lane pretty well and lose only slightly. I'd consider picking something like Renekton or Akshan if they go Kassa. Ryze is, even if not that noticable on the surfice, quite complex and hard to play. So don't get discouraged and blame the Champion for being "weak", he isn't really weak and just takes more practice than other Champions.A lot of damage was lost with the new Seraphs this season and if you go tank you’re just a W spam bot which is not fun. He can go even in the most matchups, even on the hard ones if played correctly .Presence of Mind on Ryze. Even though i think as secondary trees the Domination tree with "Ravenous Hunter" and "Eyeball collection" and the Inspiration tree with "Perfect Timing" and "Cosmic Insight" are superior, I would also consider the Precision tree with "Presence of Mind" and "Cut down" which could solve two of Ryze' problems. I've played 700 games this season with about 99% on topside and my record stands like this: Average gold adv at 10min - 700g, at 20 min 2000. Average turret dmg per game - 4600. Which is fine because there are plenty of champs just like this. Many adcs are practically useless until 3 items. So we need to treat ryze this way aswell.
